As the senior manager for the Foreign Affairs Information Technology (FAIT) Fellowship, Chelsey manages a diversity talent pipeline for the U.S. Department of State. The FAIT Fellowship funds higher education for low-income and underrepresented students and supports them to participate in State Department internships both domestically and abroad. Chelsey earned her BA in Religious Studies at The University of Virginia and, upon graduation, joined the National College Advising Corps and developed a deep commitment to postsecondary opportunities for underserved students. Chelsey went on to earn an MS in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University and an MA in Education Policy from Teachers College at Columbia University.
